Product Info

This experience alone is worth the trip to the Far North to discover the legendary village of Muotkan Ruoktu, accompanied by a team of true enthusiasts.

In 3 full hours, this real little Arctic snowmobile expedition is one of the best ways to discover Lapland in a different way. Much more than just an activity, it is a gradual immersion in the heart of the great outdoors, designed to let you experience the adventure without extreme sporting performance. A must-do to get to grips with the snowmobile, understand how to drive it, and fully enjoy the wilderness.

From our traditional Lappish chalet, you set off in a small, intimate group (maximum six snowmobiles) to explore off the beaten track. Very soon, signs of human presence disappear, and the feeling of being on an expedition sets in: snow-covered hills, silent boreal forests, frozen lakes as far as the eye can see, pristine tundra. Here, time slows down and the immersion is total.

Suitable for beginners, this adventure is ideal for a first experience with a snowmobile. Modern, stable, and easy to drive, it allows you to ride alone or with a companion, with complete confidence. A solo driver option is available (additional cost of €40). The activity requires a driver's license and is not available to children under 48 inches tall.

Accompanied by an experienced live guide, you will discover authentic Lapland, where snowmobiling is much more than a hobby: it is the traditional means of travel for the Sámi people to reach remote areas. As you gain altitude, the panoramas open up and offer a rare feeling of freedom. Keep your eyes peeled: free-roaming reindeer and sometimes majestic moose regularly cross the path.

Breaks are an integral part of the experience. Over a hot coffee served in the middle of nature, you take the time to observe, breathe, and listen to the Arctic silence. The biting cold on your face, the muffled roar of the engine, the crunch of the snow under the skis... every sensation reinforces this feeling of a gentle and authentic expedition. And when the conditions are right, magic sometimes happens under a clear sky: the Northern Lights can illuminate the night.

This snowmobile outing is a must for understanding Lapland, learning to drive a snowmobile smoothly, and experiencing an immersive, eco-friendly adventure. No large-scale tourism, but a human, sustainable, and genuine experience, getting as close as possible to the wilderness of Muotkatunturi Natural Park.

An accessible adventure that is intense without being extreme, designed for those who want to experience Lapland, not just pass through it.
