There were six of us in total, including two people in their 60s and two over 80s. Before the trip, the travel agency carefully suggested great cherry blossom viewing spots using KakaoTalk. Considering the two elders over 80, they also discussed and modified the itinerary to be more walkable. Although it rained on the morning of the trip, and there was traffic control around the first stop, our driver, Mr. Kim Ji Wan, kindly provided long umbrellas (which could also be used as walking sticks), adjusted the itinerary, and gave us some helpful tips for each stop. He also suggested we use KakaoTalk to communicate throughout the sightseeing, and to notify him when we were done. He would then appear at the agreed-upon location. At lunchtime, he recommended a non-spicy restaurant and even helped us order before leaving, allowing the elders to experience Korean-style meat-filled buns, which they were very satisfied with. Although we were a little late, he still managed to get us safely back to our accommodation. He was very considerate in helping the grandparents get on and off the bus, and introduced the cherry blossom season in Gyeongju to us in both English and Korean. Gyeongju is very lively, and there were many cars on the road. We had a wonderful driver, and I highly recommend this tour for group travel! Additional information: We visited Bulguksa Temple, Bomun Lake (for a short walk), a vegetable and pork restaurant, Gyeongju Museum (due to heavy rain), Woljeong Bridge, Gyochon, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, ate 10-won bread by the roadside, and Daereungwon.
