Discover life on the water

After pickup in Cat Ba Town, you’ll head to Cai Beo Harbor and begin cruising through Lan Ha Bay.
Your first stop is the floating fishing village, one of the oldest in Northern Vietnam. Meet local fishermen and learn how fish farming is part of daily life here.

Explore Viet Hai Village

Continue to Viet Hai Village, accessible only by boat.
From the pier, take an electric car into the village and explore the area by bicycle. Discover traditional houses, quiet paths, and a slower rhythm of life far from tourist crowds.
Optional: try the local fish foot massage.

Scenic stop near Monkey Island

On the way back, enjoy a stop near Monkey Island, offering great views and a chance to experience another side of the bay.

Swim & relax (weather permitting)

If conditions allow, the boat will stop in a quiet area where you can swim in clear water or simply relax on board.

A real local lunch - not a tourist buffet

At the end of the tour, you’ll return to the pier for a family-style lunch at Mr. Ba’s restaurant, prepared by his wife, Mrs Duong.
This is not a standard tour meal, it’s a simple, authentic Vietnamese lunch shared in a local setting. Vegetarian options are available.

Back to your hotel before the afternoon

After lunch, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Cat Ba.
Because the tour runs only in the morning, you’ll still have the rest of your day free.
