This plan is designed for those who want to start fishing or are looking for a way to get into it. Of course, if you have already bought your own gear but don't know how to use it, feel free to bring it along, and we will provide as much advice as we can. Our staff, mostly up-and-coming individuals who have received practical training at marine vocational schools, will be there to assist you, making it easy and reassuring even for children.
Feature 2: Otaru is just 40 minutes from Sapporo by JR, and you can join us empty-handed. We offer pick-up services from accommodations and landmarks around Otaru Station.
You can participate in this plan without bringing anything, as gear and bait are provided. Please feel free to use this as a fun activity during your trip. If you are coming from Sapporo Station, you can reach Otaru in 35–40 minutes via the JR Rapid Airport train (800 yen one-way for adults). Please consult with us regarding free pick-up from accommodations and landmarks in the city center around Otaru Station (between JR Otaru Station and Otaru-Chikko Station). We can also provide suggestions for meals after your experience.
Feature 3: While we primarily use bait and a 'bura' (a weighted lure that also acts as a reflector) or sabiki rigs, we can also prepare gear for light casting or float fishing.
To ensure you fully feel the sensation of fishing, this plan focuses on sabiki fishing or 'hechi' fishing (targeting the area right under the wharf) using a bura. However, we can also provide rods for casting, which is great for those who don't mind waiting a bit longer for a catch. During the experience, while aiming for relatively easy catches with sabiki rigs, you can also try casting in between, and the feeling of hooking a larger fish is truly unforgettable.

However, for adults accompanied by infants under 3 years old (who are free of charge), accompaniment is permitted with prior notice.
・Children under 18 cannot participate alone. Please ensure they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
・Pick-up within Otaru city is limited to hotels near Otaru Station or the area around JR Otaru Station. Please note that we do not provide pick-up services outside the central Otaru area.
・If you are using a rental car or other vehicle, the meeting point will be the nearest location to the port (Lawson Otaru Iroinai 3-chome store).
・If you are not on time for the meeting, the tour may be canceled.
・If you wish to take your catch home, please prepare a cooler bag or similar. (If desired, we can provide a cooler bag with ice packs for a fee of 1,100 yen.)
・As of now (2026/9/1), there is no service available to bring your catch to a restaurant for cooking.

Since parking and stopping are not allowed in front of the hotel, pick-up will take place in the alley behind the hotel.
If you are staying near Otaru Station, we will come to pick you up near your hotel.
If you are arriving by car, the meeting point will be the 'Lawson Iroinai 3-chome' store near the fishing spot.

Depending on conditions, the fishing location may change to areas such as Umaya-machi Wharf or Shioya Fishing Port.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 4 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 3 to 3 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
