Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art is holding a special exhibition focusing on Buddhist statues passed down through temples and shrines within the prefecture.
A highlight is the National Treasure 'Standing Statue of Cundi Bodhisattva' from the Daihoon-ji Temple in Kyoto.
