Description

Get ready to set sail on an exciting adventure! This course offers a fun, safe, and super enjoyable way for young sailors to learn the ropes—or sharpen their skills—while making waves and memories on the water!

Groups will be made based on age, ability and friends!

We supply the safety equipment, the boards and boats and the instructors. Cap, long sleeve wetsuits/rashies and old trainers / water shoes are required as well as recess, lunch and a water bottle. An information sheet will be supplied with your enrolment form that lets you know what clothing and gear to bring along.

Our aim is to have confident sailors going home with exciting tales of their adventures at the end of each day.

It is always our priority to get the participants out sailing, weather permitting. All of our activities are determined by the weather and our priority is safety. Should the weather be deemed unsafe for the allocated activity we will either switch to another or run on land activities (theory, drills, sailing related games).

Complimentary early drop off starts at 8.30am with a selection of games and activities before the camp starts. Camps run from 09:30 till 3pm each day. Pickup is between 3pm and 5.30pm (kids can help de-rigging, play some games, watch a movie)

It is hard for beginners to drop in for one day. If you are a novice sailor and can only do one day, Adventure Camp is the answer. If you can sail, single days might be possible. If you would like to do the full week or combination camps, please call the office and we can arrange for you.
