This tour includes a visit to a workshop specializing in Niigata's famous 'Sasa Dango' (bamboo leaf-wrapped rice cakes), where you will try your hand at making them yourself. Choose between a morning or afternoon tour to easily fit your travel schedule. — Daily Itinerary — Morning / Afternoon Course 8:45 / 13:15 Meeting time (for those requesting pick-up from JR Tsubame-Sanjo Station) We will meet in front of the Joetsu Shinkansen ticket gate on the 2nd floor of JR Tsubame-Sanjo Station. We will provide transport to the tour starting point. 9:00 / 13:30 Explanation of manufacturing history at Kura Gallery Learn about the history and culture of local industry at the Kura Gallery, a renovated 90-year-old industrial heritage site (former Sanjo Products Warehouse). 9:30 / 14:00 Cycling with E-bikes (to Food Kobo Yuko) Travel to local open factories on high-performance electric bicycles (E-bikes). - If bad weather makes it difficult to conduct the tour, we will cancel it.
Important notes regarding course participation:
- For safety reasons, we regret that we cannot allow anyone who is unable to ride a bicycle to participate in the tour. We will check whether you are able to ride a bicycle independently before the tour begins. If, as a result of the pre-tour check, we determine that you are unable to participate in the tour, we will consider it a cancellation due to your circumstances, and we ask for your understanding.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 11 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 8 to 10 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
- For cancellations made 0 to 0 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
