Product Info

-What you can expect-
Join a lively 2-hour workshop where you'll have the chance to craft your own mini shamisen, learn a few tunes, and savour a live performance accompanied by sweet treats. The instrument you create is yours to keep, allowing you to continue playing at home.

You'll craft your own mini shamisen and play it too. Slip into a traditional happi coat and start feeling the Japanese vibe. Listen to history about shamisen, and get hands-on with a beginner-friendly mini shamisen kit. With guidance on aspects like thread tension, you'll have your instrument assembled in no time - it's so straightforward, even primary school children can do it! You'll be taught how to read sheet music, and you'll practise a song. The shamisen sheet music is incredibly simple, with numbers marked on the mini shamisen to guide you where to press.

At the end you'll sit back and listen to live shamisen music while indulging in some sweets.
