Sumo training observation tour with sumo journalist

Meeting point description: 1-8-5 Kamezawa, Sumida-ku, Tokyo. Toei Subway Oedo Line, Ryogoku Station, A2 Exit. Your guide will be holding a black flag.(Japan, 東京都江東区豊洲４−１１)

Not allowed:You are not allowed to enter the sumo ring

Pets are not allowed on the tour

Know in advance:You will remove your shoes and either sit on a cushion on the floor or on a chair. It is considered disrespectful to stretch your legs and point your soles toward the sumo wrestlers, so this is prohibited

The sumo stable is not a tourist attraction but a serious training facility. Please remain quiet during the visit. If you must make a phone call, please do so outside the sumo stable

Restroom breaks or outdoor rests are allowed during the visit. Please ask the guide if needed

If the above rules are not followed, you may be asked to leave without re-entry or a refund

Your guide is bilingual and will conduct the tour in Japanese and English

In case of bad weather, the return taxi fare to your accommodation is included
