Since the coronation of William the Conqueror in 1066, all coronations of English and British monarchs have been in Westminster Abbey. There have been 16 royal weddings at the abbey since 1100. Enter the Abbey and inhale the air of royalty! Before entering the Abbey, your historic walking tour takes you through London’s best-known area, Westminster, with a friendly expert guide.

You start in Green Park and begin our Westminster walking tour. Sights we’ll see along the way include Buckingham Palace (Changing of the Guard), Downing Street, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament Square, and the Houses of Parliament (Westminster Palace).

You can choose between the following options available in the order box: Shared Tour and Private Tour. Please note that for the private tour, a minimum of 2 adults per booking is required.

  • Meeting point description: Meet your guide outside The Ritz London hotel, next to 2 red telephone boxes and 2 souvenir stands, underneath one of the Ritz signs. The nearest tube station is Green Park Underground station. When you get to Green Park Underground station, take the left-hand exit. You will see a set of stairs and a ramp leading out of the station. Take the stairs up and walk towards the Ritz Hotel. Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start of your tour.(150 Piccadilly, London W1J 9BR, United Kingdom)

  • Know in advance:The Changing of the Guard Ceremony is daily in June and July, otherwise Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (book the 10 am tour start time for this experience)
