When we go to the UK, we usually stay in major cities like London. We only visit surrounding areas if we're driving, but that naturally costs more. This time, the five of us rode in a Punch bus to different suburban attractions, which was quite interesting. The guide (and driver) explained the various landmarks and historical sites to us in Chinese; he was very professional, explaining historical information clearly and engagingly, almost like a computer presentation. Most importantly, the trip lasted from 8:00 AM to around 7:00 PM, and I spent very little money – truly excellent value for money.
It's much more convenient than going on your own, and the price is much better value, but the time is relatively limited, and the itinerary is rushed, which is a pity.
Our guide, Ying, provided detailed explanations, including information about the attractions and photo spots, and also shared many souvenirs and other must-see places. I was very satisfied!
