Product Info

I'm Andreas, a 32 year old, born and raised in Nuremberg. The first walking tour I joined was with my grandfather who lived in Nuremberg for 86 years. He showed his 5-year-old grandson his city. Now I have this small tour company and my partners and I want to do the same for you. Our goal is to break down Nuremberg’s history, culture and its architectural highlights in a walking tour of around 2:15 hours. You will learn about Nuremberg’s "Golden Age" in the late Middle Ages and its "Dark Age" during the Third Reich. You will see beautiful half-timbered houses, churches and the castle. You will learn all about the typical Nuremberg specialties and where to find the best places to get them. Together we will go to the house of the most important German artist, Albrecht Durer. Listen to stories of the hangman Franz Schmidt, and why he was a far friendlier character than you might think. Understand Nuremberg’s path toward dealing with the heritage of the Nazi-era and how the city was rebuilt after its doom in WW2.
After the tour we will have time to answer all your questions and we are happy to help you with your plans in and around Nuremberg.
See you soon in "Naemberch".
