Begin outside on the Parvis, where your certified guide brings to life the cathedral’s iconic façade, explaining the stories carved into the three great portals, the drama behind the Gallery of Kings, and how the flying buttresses transformed Gothic architecture.

Then step inside the Notre-Dame interior, reopened after the 2019 fire. Beneath soaring ribbed vaults and dazzling stained glass windows, learn how this cathedral became the heart of Parisian faith and culture. Hear stories of Napoleon’s coronation, the relics once kept here—including the Crown of Thorns—and Victor Hugo’s role in saving the cathedral.

When you sign up for this tour, you become a student again for the day—joining an unforgettable lesson in Parisian history. This Notre-Dame interior and exterior workshop blends teaching, storytelling, and discovery, guided by a passionate licensed professional.

This is a non–skip-the-line experience. Your guide will accompany you inside via the general admission line. We do not provide entry tickets or offer skip-the-line access.
