Yuki learned her techniques at a sushi school and has been teaching local Japanese people and overseas tourists since 2018. Her work has caught the attention of local media, leading to various interviews and appearances on newspapers, radio, and television. Furthermore, she learned the fundamentals of Japanese cuisine from a chef who once served meals to Emperor Showa. In 2024, when the 65th anniversary celebration of the sister-city relationship between Sapporo and Portland, Oregon, USA, was held in Sapporo, she performed a sushi roll demonstration for both mayors and the visiting delegation, which was very well received.
