🌊 Most people who try scuba diving for the first time say the same thing afterward: they wish they had done it sooner.

Racha Yai Island is about as close to a perfect first dive as you can get. The water is warm, calm, and clear. The reef is shallow, colorful, and full of life. And from the moment you arrive to the moment you surface, you have one instructor focused entirely on you.

Your day starts with a hotel pickup and a ride to Chalong Pier, where a hot breakfast is waiting 🍳. Before you get near the water, your instructor sits down with you for a proper briefing — how to breathe through the regulator, how to equalise the pressure in your ears, what the hand signals mean, and what to do if anything feels off. There is no clock running. You go in the water when you feel ready, not before.

Once you're in, you'll spend 30 to 35 minutes exploring the reef together 🐠🐢. Reef fish weave through the coral. Occasionally a sea turtle drifts past. Your instructor is right beside you the whole time — if you want to linger somewhere, you linger. If you need a moment to adjust, you take it. The pace is yours.

After your dive, the day isn't over — jump back in and snorkel the reef, relax on the deck, or enjoy the views while the full lunch buffet is served onboard 🍱.

Not ready to dive? No problem — our snorkeling option takes you to 3 separate sites across Racha Yai and Racha Noi on the same private yacht. Crystal clear water, abundant marine life, and no crowded speedboats — just you, the reef, and open ocean. Most snorkelers say the visibility alone makes it worth the trip.

And if you're wondering what to do for 10 hours — don't worry. Between the dive, snorkeling, swimming off the yacht, sunbathing on deck, and the food and drinks running all day, the time flies. Snacks and soft drinks are available throughout, and nobody goes home hungry 🥤.
