Natural ice forms in winter and can usually be seen until early autumn. However, please note that visibility can vary depending on the weather and cave temperature, and the ice is not present all year round.
Please note that the exit requires climbing a staircase with an elevation difference of approximately 21 meters, which may be physically demanding for some guests.
In summer, the temperature difference between inside and outside the cave can exceed 20°C. Individuals with heart conditions or other health concerns are advised against participating.
In the deepest part of the cave, follow the designated wooden walkway. Stepping off the path will put you on slippery ice, increasing the risk of falls and injuries.
Cave ceilings are generally low, so always watch your head. The lowest point is about 91cm, and there is a risk of hitting your head.
The stairs are made of stacked stones rather than paved surfaces and can be slippery when damp. In early spring, ice may remain on the stairs, making them even more slippery. For safety reasons, high heels and unstable footwear are strongly discouraged.
For safety reasons, children under 4 years old or under 100cm tall are not permitted to enter the cave, nor are they allowed to enter while being carried.
