This tour is primarily a local tour for Japanese tourists. While the tour guide will communicate in Japanese, necessary information will be provided in written form in English and Chinese. In case of emergencies, translation apps on tablet devices will be used.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable Hozugawa River boating experience, the following boarding restrictions apply: → "Persons under 80 cm in height, those unable to properly wear a life jacket, and those feeling unwell are not permitted to board." "Wheelchair users must be accompanied by an attendant, even if they are able to board by transferring to a seat. Wheelchairs cannot be boarded on board." Guide dogs are permitted. Additionally, a passenger manifest will be submitted to the boating company upon boarding.
If the Hozugawa River boat trip is cancelled by 3 PM the day before due to weather conditions such as flooding or storms, the tour will be cancelled. If the cancellation is decided after that time, the tour will proceed. In that case, you will receive a refund equivalent to the Hozugawa River boat trip fee and the local bus fare. You will also be transported by shuttle bus from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station to the restaurant, and the tour will end at JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. Please understand this before applying.
The tour will depart even if the Sagano Scenic Railway is cancelled. You will travel to Kameoka Station by local train, and the difference in fare will be refunded.
Please note that you may be sharing the shuttle bus and regular route bus with other passengers. (This tour does not involve travel by private bus.)
At the meeting point, a staff member will be waiting for you holding a "Hankyu Travel" sign (board or flag). Please confirm the course name and complete the registration using the name of the group representative.
