【Alpine Crossing | 2-Day In-Depth Private Tour of Tateyama Kurobe | Service Description】

This itinerary is a fixed-route private charter service designed to provide you with a comfortable and convenient in-depth travel experience in Japan.

Please be sure to read the following service details and precautions before booking:

1) Product Cost Description: The cost included in this product is for the exclusive private charter service during the 2-day group tour. The service scope covers: exclusive vehicle fees for the entire journey, professional driver-guide service fees, fuel costs, highway tolls, parking fees, and other driving-related expenses.

※ The cost does not include personal consumption items such as accommodation, meals, and attraction tickets, nor does it include services such as hotel or restaurant bookings.

2) Driver Accommodation Subsidy: Since the driver-guide will accompany you throughout the trip and stay overnight, guests are required to subsidize the driver's accommodation expenses at 8,000 JPY per night. This fee will be collected by the driver from the guests in cash at the end of the trip. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

3) Daily Service Hours: 10 hours between 07:00 and 21:00 (Overtime service and service outside these hours will incur an additional overtime fee / late-night service fee of 2,000 JPY / hour).

4) Driver Language: Japanese/Mandarin Chinese. The driver will provide simple explanations in the car but will not accompany you into the attractions.

5) Route Information: This product is basically a fixed itinerary. However, if you need to temporarily change the attraction route and exceed the daily limit of 350 km, an additional fee will be charged. For every 1 km exceeded, an additional 350 JPY will be charged, payable in cash to the driver on-site.

Arrive at Hirugano Kogen Service Area, known as one of the most beautiful service areas, and take a break in the fresh highland air. Enjoy the panoramic views of rolling mountains and vast meadows. You can taste local delicacies and limited-edition desserts at the service area to recharge for the journey ahead, while relaxing your body and mind in the highland scenery.

Arrive at Kamikochi and start your hiking tour. Kamikochi (3.5 hours of free hiking) Hiking Route 1: Get off at Taisho Pond <Taisho Pond> Tashiro Marsh <Tashiro Pond> <Tashiro Bridge> <Kappa Bridge> <Takezawa Marsh> <Kappa Bridge> <Kamikochi Bus Terminal>. The distance is about 5km, and the hiking time is about 3.5 hours. Hiking Route 2: Kamikochi Bus Terminal <Kappa Bridge> Azusa River <Right Bank> <Takezawa Marsh> <Myojin Pond> Azusa River (Left Bank) Kamikochi Bus Terminal. The round trip is about 5.7km, and the hiking time is about 3.5 hours.

Arrive at the Bear Park (40 minutes of play time) to observe the habits of Japanese brown bears up close and experience a safe feeding activity. Visitors can purchase special feed and throw it from designated spots; the bears will stand up and wave, which is very fun and popular with families.

After finishing your stroll through Kamikochi and the mountains, return to the hotel in the evening to rest. The next morning, we will head to Ogizawa Station to officially embark on the magnificent journey across the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.

2) Driver Accommodation Allowance: As the driver and guide will be accompanying the group throughout the trip and will need to stay overnight, the guest will need to subsidize the driver's accommodation expenses at 8,000 yen per night. Overtime fee

If the usage time exceeds 10 hours, an overtime fee will be charged: 2,500 yen/30 minutes for 7-seater vehicles and 4,000 yen/30 minutes for 10-seater vehicles. Please pay the driver in cash on-site.

Late-night service fees

For rides exceeding 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, a late-night service fee of 2,000 yen per hour will be charged. Please pay the driver in cash on-site.

Driver accommodation allowance

For multi-day private charter car services, an additional fee of ¥8,000 per night will be charged for the driver's accommodation. This fee will be collected by the driver from the guest in cash at the end of the trip. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Child car seat

The first child seat is provided free of charge. For the second and subsequent seats, a charge of 2,000 yen per seat will be applied. Please note this when placing your order and pay the driver in cash on-site.
