- This is a snowshoe tour that takes you to hidden spots around Lake Shikotsu, the northernmost ice-free lake near Sapporo. We offer free shuttle service from Sapporo Station. Walk along the shores of Lake Shikotsu, accessible only in winter, and head into the winter forest to reach the Moss Corridor. Experience a mystical space where you can fully immerse yourself in the winter forest and the green corridor covered in moss on walls that tower above you. This tour is recommended for those who want a unique snowshoeing experience or are trying it for the first time. Professional guides will provide lectures on the highlights of the winter forest throughout the tour. This guided tour can be given in English.

- Specialized equipment such as snowshoes and poles can be rented for free. In addition to the above, goggles, winter gloves, waterproof/insulated outerwear, and waterproof/insulated snow boots are also available for rent for an additional fee. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to rent these items. Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to use paid rentals. The following paid rental fees are per item. - The tour is conducted in small groups to ensure attentive support. We operate with a maximum of 2 groups and a capacity of 5 participants. As a COVID-19 countermeasure, alcohol disinfectant and disposable masks are provided in the shuttle vehicle.

What You Can Expect
1 Day
- 08:00Overall itinerary. 8:00 Reception at the meeting point. After check-in, depart for the activity site. 10:30 Arrive at the activity site. Preparation. 11:00-14:30 Activity time Walk along the shores of Lake Shikotsu on snowshoes (approx. 60 min) Head to hidden spots. Breaks and lectures will be provided throughout (60 min) Lunch time at a scenic spot. Return to the parking lot (60 min) 16:00 Dismissal in front of Sapporo Station.

- Tours may be canceled before departure due to weather conditions or other force majeure reasons. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible. If the tour is canceled for the above reasons, there will be no cancellation fee. In addition, depending on weather conditions and other circumstances, we may change the course or schedule to ensure the safety of our guests. Please note that we cannot provide refunds, including all expenses, even if the original purpose of the tour is not achieved as a result.

- While guides will do their best to ensure safety during mountain climbing, there are various dangers associated with outdoor activities, such as falls, falling rocks, falling snow, and falling branches. Guests are asked to be fully aware of the risks associated with mountain climbing before participating. Guides may not be held responsible for any accidents that occur during the activity.

Rental equipment: Specialized equipment such as snowshoes and poles are available for free rental. In addition to the above, goggles, winter gloves, waterproof and cold-resistant outerwear, and waterproof and cold-resistant snow boots are available for rental, but at an additional cost. If you would like to rent additional items for a fee, please let us know the size and quantity for each gender when you register. The rental fees below are per item. - Cancellations 14 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 8 to 13 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 80% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
