Yoshino Plum Garden is a renowned early spring plum blossom viewing spot in Kyushu. The garden boasts over 10,000 red and white plum trees, stretching across the hillsides and valleys. Every February and March, the flowers bloom in layers, like clouds and rosy hues, creating a romantic and serene scene. 【Yoshiura Peninsula - Bungo Channel Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival】Famous for its early-blooming "Kawazu Cherry Blossoms," this festival is one of the earliest places in Kyushu to announce the arrival of spring. Along the coastline, approximately 5,000 Kawazu cherry trees are in full bloom, their delicate pink blossoms particularly beautiful against the backdrop of blue sky and sea. A gentle breeze carries the petals, creating a picturesque scene. During the annual cherry blossom festival, nighttime illuminations and local markets add to the lively atmosphere, making it a perfect place to enjoy cherry blossoms while experiencing nature and human warmth.
【Shiranoe Botanical Garden, a Famous Cherry Blossom Viewing Spot】is a vast botanical garden built on natural mountain and forest terrain, renowned for its seasonal floral and tree landscapes. In spring, approximately 700 cherry trees bloom along the hillsides and pond edges, unfolding in layers from early to late-blooming varieties, filling the park with a soft spring glow from March onwards. Walking paths meander through the forest, offering close-up views of the natural beauty of mountain cherry blossoms, Yoshino cherry trees, and various other flowering trees. 【Mt. Sarakura Ropeway】(Entrance fees not included, but booking assistance available) – This is the main way to access one of the area's most popular nighttime viewpoints. As the ropeway slowly ascends, passengers can enjoy panoramic views of the city streets, harbor, and rolling mountains. Upon reaching the summit, a mini inclined tram takes you to the observation deck, where you'll find a dazzling vista hailed as one of Japan's "Three New Great Night Views."
