- Experience 'hand-building', the foundation of pottery. Why not create your favorite ceramic pieces, such as coffee cups or plates? You can enjoy a pottery experience of about 2 hours in a cozy, home-like atmosphere. We also recommend exploring the famous tourist destination of Shuzenji!
- Create freely with 1kg of clay!
- At Naka-Izu Kiln Gallery Darushin, you can use 1kg of clay—enough for about two matcha tea bowls—to hand-build whatever you like. You can make items such as two tea cups and a snack plate, a coffee cup with a saucer and creamer, a vase, a plate, or an object.
- A wide variety of unique glazes
- You can create unique pottery pieces using various original glazes, such as flame red, sea blue, and many others. All are original glazes from Naka-Izu Kiln, available in colors including red, blue, white, black, green, and brown. You can view samples and choose on the day.
- Beginners can immerse themselves with peace of mind!
- Even beginners are welcome, as we provide careful guidance. Some people finish in 1 hour while others take 4 hours, but there are no additional fees required.
