Product Info
- At 'Yamanaka no Sample-ya', you can experience making food samples using the vinyl resin technique currently used by sample artisans across the country. In this plan, you will make either ice cream or soft serve. You can make 3 of each. The required time is about 1 hour.
- Looks good enough to eat! Ice cream & soft serve
- For ice cream, you will choose 3 colors from 6 options to create your samples. The finished samples will even feature a realistic textured surface. For soft serve, you will make 3 types: milk, strawberry, and chocolate. It takes a little practice to pipe the cream beautifully, but our staff will provide tips, so please give it your best shot!
- Food sample workshop tour also available
- Upon request, we also offer a guided tour where we carefully explain from scratch how food samples are made (tour is free). Please enjoy watching the process of how various food samples are created. *Please contact us in advance if you would like a guided tour.
Can be processed into accessories
We highly recommend taking a factory tour.
The surrounding area is also fun to explore.
