Enriched air, which contains approximately 22% to 40% oxygen, is becoming increasingly popular in diving scenes worldwide because it reduces nitrogen buildup in the body compared to the 21% oxygen found in standard air, thereby lessening the physical burden. Since the no-decompression limit is extended at the same depth, it is the ideal gas for those who want to dive at a leisurely pace. It also lowers the risk of decompression sickness and is used by many divers. In this course, you will learn how to measure oxygen concentration, how to set your dive computer, and the precautions to take when breathing higher concentrations of oxygen. You can take this course in conjunction with a Fun Dive, so please give it a try.

Repeating dives, such as two or three times a day, can be tiring, but surprisingly, you will notice that using enriched air leaves you feeling less fatigued! You might not notice a difference after the first dive, but by the third dive, you will realize, 'Wait, I'm not tired!'

You can earn your Enriched Air SP certification with two dives in the morning. The SP course consists of two dives, which can be completed in either the morning or the afternoon. It is conducted during a Fun Dive, so you can enjoy yourself while learning. Times can be adjusted, so please contact us for details.

How to Get There

・By car: From Naha, take the highway out of Yaka Interchange, turn left, and head towards National Route 58. Go straight (there is a bypass intersection for Route 58 along the way, but do not turn!) After about 10 minutes, you will see a PADI flag at the Hakubiri parking lot on your left, 200m before Onna Elementary and Junior High School.
