Product Info

Departures every day of the year, bookable from 1 person, with multiple languages and time slots available, plus optional pickup/drop-off packages!

After all guests have gathered, we will head east and join Route 1 (also known as the Ring Road). We will travel along the coastline, where you may encounter strong winds, especially at Reynisfjara Beach. Please prepare clothing according to the weather conditions. The order of attractions visited may vary depending on the weather of the day.

Skógafoss waterfall is 60 meters high, formed by the Skógá River. It was originally part of the sea cliffs, but as the coastline retreated, this spectacular vertical waterfall was left behind. Mist or spray often forms near the waterfall, and beautiful rainbows can appear on sunny days. If you want to challenge yourself, you can climb the 527 steps to enjoy a panoramic view from the top. Along the way, there are several smaller waterfalls, and it is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls trail, a 22-kilometer route leading to Thorsmörk in the Icelandic Highlands.

Reynisfjara Beach is one of Iceland's most famous attractions, possessing a mysterious natural atmosphere. The power of lava and the sea meets here, forming basalt columns, huge domed caves, and the famous black sand beach. The waves here are rough, so please be sure to follow the guide's instructions and avoid getting too close to the potentially dangerous surf.

Vík is the southernmost village in Iceland, where you can enjoy views of the Reynisdrangar sea stacks, the black sand beach, and beautiful panoramas. Vík is located south of the Katla volcano; if the volcano erupts, glacial meltwater could flood the entire village, so evacuation drills are frequently conducted. This is our lunch stop.

Next, we will head to Sólheimajökull glacier, an outlet glacier of the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap. Due to glacial retreat, the parking lot is no longer close to the glacier itself, and it is about a 15-minute walk to the edge of the glacier. The trail passes a huge glacial lagoon formed by meltwater, where icebergs occasionally break off into the lake, creating a spectacular sight. The guide will explain the science of glaciers, how they shape the landscape, and their future in the face of climate change.

The last stop is Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls, standing 60 meters high with a relatively gentle flow. The waterfall is fed by the Seljalandsá River, which originates from the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. You can walk behind the waterfall to experience a unique perspective; although you will get wet from the spray, it is a major highlight.

After visiting the waterfall, we will return to Reykjavik city. You will be dropped off at the same location where you were picked up in the morning.
