Hyakuroman's specialty is seafood slowly grilled over an irori hearth in the atmosphere of a traditional townhouse. As you enter, you'll be greeted by an open kitchen that's full of excitement. The irori hearth is the centerpiece. The far-infrared rays of the charcoal fire quickly grill the surface until it's crispy, preserving the flavor and moisture inside, resulting in a juicy grill. Be sure to try Hyaku's small dishes as well as the seafood cooked over the irori hearth.
Our company is running the "Yoi no Komachi" project in the area from Karasuma to Kawaramachi in Kyoto. "Hyakuroman" is the third restaurant in the "Roman" series, following Sumiroman and Sushiroman. "Yoi no Komachi" is located in an area that still retains the atmosphere of Kyoto's traditional townhouses.
