Located on the northern hillside of Mt. Raizan, it is also known as Raizan Kannon. You can visit and admire the Thousand-Armed Kannon statue, a designated National Important Cultural Property, as well as the Seiga Shonin seated statue (also a National Important Cultural Property), the Niten statues (a Prefectural Cultural Property), numerous other Buddhist statues, and the Shinji Garden. Additionally, in mid-November, the autumn foliage of the 400-year-old great maple tree (a Prefectural Natural Monument) is breathtaking.
  • Yanagawa (Stay duration approx. 2 hours; actual time subject to driver's announcement)
Known as the 'City of Water' and the 'Venice of Kyushu.' Its canal network spans 930 kilometers and was originally built to divert water from the Chikugo River for irrigation. You can often see flat-bottomed boats navigating the canals, with boatmen in traditional attire using poles to guide visitors on a leisurely tour along the river.
    * Please note that lunch is at your own expense.

  • Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (Stay duration approx. 1.5 hours; actual time subject to driver's announcement)
The main deity enshrined here is Sugawara no Michizane, also known as 'Tenjin,' the god of learning, culture, and art. Dazaifu Tenmangu is one of the most important shrines in Japan and the head shrine for the 12,000 Tenmangu shrines across the country. As a famous tourist destination in Fukuoka, the shrine attracts over 10 million visitors annually. The shrine and its surrounding grounds retain an ancient charm while maintaining a timeless artistic style. It collaborates with artists from around the world to host rich and innovative art events, blending religious spirituality with creativity to present this unique shrine environment to the public. Welcome to Dazaifu Tenmangu, a shrine of learning, culture, and art with over a thousand years of history.
  • Kamado Shrine (Stay duration approx. 40 minutes; actual time subject to driver's announcement)
Kamado Shrine is quietly nestled at the foot of Mt. Homan, northeast of Dazaifu City. Mt. Homan stands 829 meters tall and has been considered a sacred mountain by Shinto practitioners since ancient times. People have worshipped gods and Buddhas here, and it is also an excellent spot for cherry blossom viewing in the spring and autumn foliage in the fall.
