Choose a fan design (5 minutes). Choose from two frame types and eight types of washi paper. If you choose plain washi paper, you can design it however you like with colored pencils.
Attach washi paper to the fan frame (55 minutes). Use starch glue to attach washi paper to the front and back of the fan, the edges, and the tabs. Be careful not to break the fan frame or tear the washi paper.
Apply persimmon tannin to the entire fan, let it dry, and it's done! (60 minutes). The most distinctive feature of Raiminshibu fans is the use of persimmon tannin. It is an excellent product that has antiseptic, anti-mold, and anti-insect properties. Apply it carefully to create a calm, modern fan.
