At this Hizen Yoshida-yaki pottery studio founded in the first year of the Meiji era, you can try a decal-style decoration experience where you transfer popular patterns onto pottery. You will decorate the tea incense burner and its saucer to create your very own original piece. What is a tea incense burner? A tea incense burner is a tool used to heat tea leaves and enjoy their aroma. By placing a candle inside the burner, the heat warms the tea leaves on the top dish, releasing a fragrance. The scent of tea filling the room provides a natural aromatherapy effect that helps you relax. When you turn off the lights, you can enjoy the beautiful glow created by the tea incense burner. Placing it in your room or entryway can also provide a deodorizing effect. In addition to tea leaves, you can also use aroma oils depending on your mood. (If you wish to use separate burners for tea leaves and aroma oils, additional ones are available for purchase in the store.)
