Regarding cancellation of the event:

• ・The tour may be canceled due to bad weather.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

• Tour participation requirements: 12-70 years old. Pregnant women and those who have been drinking alcohol are not permitted to participate due to the risk of falling on the ice. Those with severe medical conditions, such as those with a circulatory, respiratory, or nervous system condition, must declare their illness and any medications they are currently taking in advance. Please be sure to bring your medication with you on the day. Please note that we may refuse participation depending on your illness and your physical condition on the day. There are no restrooms on the snowshoe trail. Please use the restroom before the tour. The snowshoe trail includes a steep uphill and downhill section. As there may be other participants, turning back is not permitted. Therefore, the following people are not permitted to participate: ■ Those who cannot walk normally or climb up and down bus steps without assistance ■ Those weighing over 100 kg ■ Those with poor balance. Downhill slopes require particularly strong footing. *If any of the above conditions are discovered on the day, not only will you be denied participation in the tour, but you will also be charged a 100% cancellation fee.

Other important points to note:

• ・As this is a natural phenomenon, depending on the season, parts of the icefall may collapse or the drifting ice may not be visible. Please be aware of this. ・The course may be changed or cancelled midway if the weather is deemed dangerous. ・Rubber boots are available for free rental. Please let us know your shoe size when you apply. ・The order of the morning and afternoon tours may change depending on the day. ・There are no hand washing facilities or water taps at the smelt fishing spot. (Portable toilets are available.)
