Chum Show is a cultural performance inspired by the legendary Bãi Tiên land, bringing together three cultural traditions—Cham, Central Highlands ethnic groups, and Kinh—through the language of contemporary art.
At the heart of the performance is the image of the “Chum” (ceramic jar), an everyday object carrying profound symbolism of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. In particular, in the Cham language and some Central Highlands indigenous languages, “Chum” also means “kiss”—a symbol of love, healing, and human connection.
