Long nails can break easily when paddling, so please trim them carefully.

The Sacred Trees Trail within the Lala Mountain National Forest Recreation Area is approximately 3.8 kilometers long, featuring dozens of ancient sacred trees along the way. The total walking time varies depending on individual pace and how long you choose to stop and admire the scenery. Generally, it takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete at a relaxed pace. The trail is well-planned and maintained, offering visitors a comfortable environment to experience the beauty of the forest.
The Lala Mountain backpack rafting adventure offers a unique experience that combines lightweight inflatable rafts with stream trekking. Led by professional guides, you'll explore the hidden, clear, and winding stream valleys of the Baling area, enjoying the fun of drifting on the water while appreciating the magnificent mountain and forest scenery from different angles. Entry to the Lala Mountain Sacred Trees Scenic Area (now Lala Mountain National Forest Recreation Area) requires a ticket. You can book tickets or packages that include tours through the KKday platform, enjoying a convenient booking process. This also allows you to arrange a complete itinerary, including private transportation and a guide, saving you the hassle of planning your own transportation and purchasing tickets separately. Simply present your booking confirmation upon entry.
To reach the Lala Mountain area by public transportation, you can first take a train or high-speed rail to Taoyuan. From there, transfer to Taoyuan Bus route 5090 (departing from the Taoyuan Bus Main Station) or route 5301 (departing from Zhongli Train Station) to Shang Baling. As routes may be limited and some sections require transfers, it's advisable to check the latest schedule before your trip. Alternatively, considering a tour package that includes transportation would be more convenient.
Fuyuan Mountain Lodge is located in the Lala Mountain area and offers a lodging experience with beautiful mountain and forest views. When staying here, you can feel the tranquility of the morning mist enveloping the mountains, gaze at the layered peaks and verdant forests during the day, and have the chance to admire a sky full of stars at night. Some rooms may directly face the valley or orchards, allowing you to be fully immersed in nature during your stay.
The Lala Mountain Sacred Trees Trail is well-planned, featuring mostly gentle slopes and boardwalks. The overall walking difficulty is considered low to moderate, making it suitable for visitors of all ages. Rest areas and interpretive signs are available along the trail, allowing you to learn about the sacred tree ecosystem while strolling. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as some sections might be slightly slippery or have minor elevation changes.
