September 14th (Sunday) Event Day
08:00 Participants arrive and check in

【Participation Instructions】

  • Participants have made their own decision to participate in this cycling event.
  • This participant has reviewed the event brochure and participation instructions provided by the organizer, and understands the relevant reminders and precautions, and has no objection.
  • Please participate according to your personal health condition. If you feel unwell, please stop and rest in a safe place and report it to the staff. Do not exceed your physical capacity.
  • The event staff reserves the right to decide to suspend or terminate the event for participants who lag too far behind, based on the participants' physical condition and road safety. Participants may not object.
  • Participants may bring any type of bicycle, but they must be equipped with a complete braking system and must wear a bicycle helmet at all times.
  • Always use a bicycle-specific water bottle. To prevent the bottle from falling and endangering fellow cyclists, be sure to inspect and adjust the bottle cage before your ride to ensure it's securely in place.
  • Please be sure to carefully check your bicycle parts and tire pressure before the event to keep your bicycle in optimal condition for safety.
  • Please be sure to obey traffic rules and keep to the right to ensure safety.
  • This is a non-competitive event. There will be no traffic control (excluding other road users). Staff will be directing and managing traffic on some sections of the route. Participants are requested to follow staff instructions and strictly obey traffic rules, staying to the side of the road in the right direction to ensure safe riding.
  • All participants must obey traffic rules and signals, riding in the right lane or alongside the road, and not against traffic. Bicycles are considered slow vehicles under traffic regulations. Therefore, if you fail to obey traffic signs and rules, any accidents or fines you receive will be the sole responsibility of the participant. Participants are advised to take this precaution. Violators found guilty will have their results disqualified and will be prohibited from future registration.
  • Participants must bring their health insurance card or identification document with them. If injured, please seek medical attention on the same day and obtain a medical certificate and receipt to facilitate insurance claims.
  • Cycling challenges and events are challenging. Participants should be aware of their health and consider the risks involved. Those with conditions such as high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, heart disease, diabetes, epilepsy, asthma, or other medical conditions that make them unsuitable for strenuous exercise are prohibited from participating. (Participants should independently assess whether they have any of these conditions. If participants persist in participating despite these conditions, the organizers will not be liable for any resulting accidents.)
  • The organizer has purchased NT$2 million per person in Travel Insurance for this event. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to carefully assess their personal safety and refrain from participating. If you consider your insurance coverage insufficient, please purchase other valid personal insurance. Travel Insurance Coverage: The maximum claim amount for this event is the policy amount. The organizer will not provide coverage exceeding the policy amount. Participants who disagree with the coverage, items, and amounts stated in the insurance policy are prohibited from participating.
  • According to the Insurance Act, life insurance or accident insurance policies purchased for minors under the age of 15 or seniors over the age of 76 as insured persons do not include death benefits for minors under the age of 15 or seniors over the age of 76.
  • According to the provisions of the Insurance Act, the maximum cumulative death benefit for minors under the age of 15 is NT$50,000.
  • This event is a non-competitive event and does not provide traffic control measures to exclude other road users from the event route. If a team vehicle is involved in a traffic accident with another person or vehicle (participant, other team vehicle, or other road users) during the event or on the event route, the police will be notified and handled in the same manner as normal traffic accidents. The organizer is not responsible for such normal traffic accidents.
  • If the weather conditions on the event day are poor, the organizer will announce the corresponding measures at the pre-trip meeting, such as the possibility of ending the event early or changing the event destination.
  • In the event of a typhoon or other force majeure natural disaster or event, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or use alternative routes and methods for safety reasons. Participants agree that the organizer will handle the event in the most favorable manner for the participants. Relevant information will be announced separately.
  • The organizer reserves the right to broadcast, announce, exhibit, and publish the video, photos, and results of this event worldwide on websites and publications. Participants must consent to the use of their likenesses, results, and media/online reports for promotional and broadcast purposes.
  • Participants are requested to demonstrate the cyclist's environmental protection style - love mountains and water, and never litter.
  • The organizer reserves the right to accept or reject applications.
  • If there are any issues not covered in this regulation or any changes, the organizer reserves the right to make changes to ensure the safety of participants.
  • Please note after registration: The latest information about the event will be announced on our website and Facebook, so please stay tuned.
  • This event is organized by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, and the Siraya National Scenic Area Administration. Photos and videos taken during the event will be used for promotional purposes by the Tourism Administration and the Siraya Administration for subsequent events. Please do not register if you do not agree.
  • The personal information collected for this event (ID, phone number, address, date of birth) will be used for event insurance and related operations and will be destroyed after the event. If you do not agree to provide this information, please do not register.

Reminders

  • The organizer will collect a chip deposit of NT$500 at the event site. After the event, the chip will be returned and the deposit will be reclaimed at the Guantian Visitor Center at the event venue.
