  • Half-Day Private Lesson: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM or 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
  • Night Private Lesson: 4:30 PM–6:30 PM

Except for major unavoidable reasons, lesson schedules may not be changed for personal reasons.

Full-day lessons include a 1-hour lunch break within the 6-hour session. Lunch costs are not included. For children’s lessons, parents or guardians must provide lunch expenses in advance.

Students must arrive at the designated meeting point on time and complete gearing up and lift ticket purchase before the lesson begins. SnowPlus Ski School is not responsible for lesson time lost due to lack of a valid lift ticket or other personal delays.

Lesson fees do not include lift tickets or ski/snowboard equipment. Assistance and information can be provided upon request at the time of booking.

For group lessons, participants must have similar skill levels. If skill levels vary significantly, SnowPlus Ski School reserves the right to refuse the lesson or prioritize instruction based on the lowest skill level.

Snowboarding and skiing cannot be taught within the same lesson. If you wish to learn both, please book separately. Any changes after payment require cancellation of the original booking in accordance with the cancellation policy.

Instructor requests must be made at the time of booking and are subject to availability. An additional instructor designation fee applies. If the requested instructor is unavailable, another instructor of equal qualification will be assigned.

Instructors have the right to refuse participants not originally registered for the lesson. Any additional participant joining the lesson or accompanying the session will be treated as a participant and may incur extra charges.

D. Children’s Lessons

The minimum age for children’s lessons is 4 years old. Due to physical, cognitive, and psychological development differences, children aged 4 to under 7 are only offered one-on-one instruction, focusing primarily on experiencing snow fun.

Children aged 7 to under 11 are limited to a maximum of 3 students per class. To maintain lesson quality, instructors may request parental assistance if disruptive behavior occurs. In severe cases, SnowPlus Ski School reserves the right to suspend or terminate the lesson. Age verification may be required before or during the lesson.

Children must be able to use the restroom independently. SnowPlus Ski School reserves the right to refuse participation if a child requires adult assistance. During full-day lessons, parents or guardians acknowledge that children may be exposed to environments that could trigger allergies, and no liability will be claimed against the school for related issues.

All children’s bookings must include accurate parent or guardian identification and contact details for emergency purposes.

SnowPlus Ski School and instructors do not provide childcare services. If a child refuses or is unwilling to ski, the instructor will contact the parent or guardian, who must come onsite and may need to terminate the lesson. Any unused lesson time or fees will not be refunded.

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that children have valid lift tickets before the lesson begins.

If a booking does not comply with children’s lesson regulations due to personal reasons, any resulting safety issues or disruptions are the sole responsibility of the participant, and SnowPlus Ski School will not be liable.

SnowPlus Ski School will not be held legally responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur before, during or after the start of the service.

  • When there are multiple participants in a course, the students must have similar skiing levels. If the levels of the students in the same course are different, SnowPlus Ski School reserves the right to refuse or give priority to the student with the lower level.

  • Snowboarding and skiing cannot be taught in the same course. If you wish to learn both, please make separate reservations. If you wish to change your course after booking and payment, please follow the cancellation process and rules to cancel the original course.

  • If students need to specify a coach, please request this when booking the course. The school will arrange it according to the situation and charge an additional coach designation fee. If the coach is unable to cooperate with the course, we will arrange another suitable coach of the same level for you.

  • The coach reserves the right to refuse students other than the original students from joining the class. Students who join the class temporarily or as companions will be deemed to be participating in the class, and the students will be responsible for any additional fees that may arise.

  • Children's courses:

  • The minimum age for child instruction is four years old. Because preschoolers' physical, cognitive, and psychological development is immature and varies greatly, only one-on-one instruction is provided for children aged four to seven, with the primary focus being on experiencing the snow. Classes are limited to three children aged seven to eleven. To prevent disruptive behavior that may affect the quality of instruction, the instructor reserves the right to request parental assistance. In serious cases, the ski school reserves the right to suspend or terminate the lesson. Proof of age may be requested upon booking/before the lesson.

  • Children participating in lessons must be able to use the restroom independently. The ski school reserves the right to refuse admission to any child who is unable to use the restroom independently or requires adult supervision. Parents or guardians should be aware that children may be exposed to allergens during the full day of lessons and will not be held responsible for any issues that arise. All child lesson booking forms must include the parent's or guardian's identification and accurate contact details to ensure immediate contact in the event of an emergency.

  • The ski school and instructors do not provide childcare services. If a child is unwilling or refuses to ski, the instructor will contact the parent and ask the parent to come to the school to understand or even terminate the lesson. If the lesson is terminated, the remaining lesson time and fees will not be refunded.

  • It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to ensure your child has/purchased a valid lift ticket before the lesson begins.

  • Students who fail to follow the children's course rules for personal reasons will be solely responsible for any safety issues or inconveniences caused during the course. The school will not be held responsible.

  • Booking and Cancellation Rules:

  • Students can make online course reservations through the SnowPlus official booking system and will receive a confirmation notification and booking details within 48 hours.

  • Please pay the full amount within three days after receiving the online payment request to secure your place.

  • Cancellation and Charges:

  • If the class is delayed by more than one hour without any contact or notification, it will be deemed as a withdrawal from the class and no refund will be accepted. If the class is delayed due to personal reasons (such as late arrival, lack of lift ticket, unsuitable equipment, etc.), no request for make-up hours or postponement of the get out of class will be accepted.

  • Course Changes: After a course is booked and paid for, the school reserves the right to refuse or deem any changes to the course content, such as changes to the course time, learning program, instructor, etc., as cancellation of the course. The school will cancel the course first and then make the course change in accordance with the above refund policy.

  • Course changes and refunds are not possible after payment is made during the peak seasons of Christmas, New Year and Lunar New Year.

  • If a ski resort officially closes due to inclement weather, the following options are available: ① Free transfer to a ski resort within the Niseko area, or additional transfer fees to Rusutsu or Kiroro. ② Rescheduling, with no transfer fee, except during peak season. ③ Cancelling a lesson will result in a full refund, minus a 10% handling fee, and a 10% discount on future bookings.

  • If you wish to cancel a lesson due to bad weather, no refund will be given unless the ski resort is closed and the lifts are running.

  • If a student is injured before the course registration date or is unable to attend the course due to other legitimate reasons, they must produce relevant supporting documents. Exceptions may be made to postpone the course or transfer the course. No refund will be given.

  • Any refund can only be paid to you by the same method as the original payment.

  • If a student requests a cancellation or change due to personal reasons or to change the course content, the student or payer will be required to pay a 10% bank handling fee. After deducting the handling fee, the final refund amount will be calculated and returned to the original payment account in the original payment currency. The actual time it takes to receive the refund depends on your payment method and bank credit card company.
