— What You Can Expect —
Depart to the southeast of Chiang Mai to Lampang, the third-largest city in northern Thailand. Visit the famous temple, Wat Phra That Lampang Luang was built in the 13th century and enshrined the relic of the Buddha where you can find a complete and perfect Lanna Architecture from its surroundings. And you will have a chance to explore the city of Lampang by the Horse Carriage (symbolic of Lampang Province) in a relaxed atmosphere. In the afternoon session, visit the Thai Elephant Conservation Center, Lampang runs by the government to offer a chance for taking free care for the injured and sick elephant from all over Thailand and South East Asia with their Elephant Hospital. After complete the application and change to mahout outfit. Experience an hour to do the activity “Send Them Back Home” by interacting with elephants by feeding, bareback riding to bathing and finally, send them back to the jungle. On the way back, visit Mae-Ta Local Market where you can find a lot of jungle products.
