・Glimpse into the life of Northern Korean people at Ganghwa Peace Observatory
・Come face to face with defectors and listen to personal stories of survival and struggle
・Enjoy comfortable private transfer and travel with an informative tour guide

-What You Can Expect-

Begin your tour at the westernmost Ganghwa Peace Observatory in the Demilitarized Zone. With its proximity to North Korea, it provides a rare glimpse into the life of the residents living in the "propaganda village." See colorful ribbons tied by visitors from all over the world in the hope of peaceful unification.

Continue to the Northern Limit Line, or NLL, drawn by the United Nations Command shortly after the Korean War ended in August 1953. The line has seen several clashes between the two Koreas, most recently the sinking of the ROK Navy Cheonan in March 2010 and the artillery exchange around Yeonpyeong Island the following November.

Make your way to Gimpo Hamsang Park. The museum and park showcase a number of wartime, marine, and aircraft that have been decommissioned after use in historical battles, landings or wars here on the Korean peninsula. The most renowned ship here is Landing Ship Unbong. Visitors can follow the landing ship’s storyline as they explore various exhibits and engage in hands-on activities, or make their way out of the vessel into the park to find sculptures of aircraft, landing boats, and amphibious vehicles as well as an outdoor stage.

Cap off the tour at an Amethyst Factory or Ginseng Center. Book now via KKday and seize the chance to talk to North Korean defectors, and listen to first-hand accounts of the mysterious Northern state.
