Kaohsiung i-Ride Flight Theater takes passengers into a massive 20-meter spherical screen, providing an immersive, body-feeling flight experience with feet dangling. The content combines technology and entertainment, making you feel like you're inside an anime world. Through five-sense effects, including wind, mist, and scents, it enhances sensory stimulation, delivering an unimaginably thrilling flight that makes audiences the protagonists of the story.
Kaohsiung i-Ride Flight Theater features a variety of themes. Classic recommendations include 'Ghost in the Shell,' where you dive into a cyberpunk world and follow Section 9 on missions, and 'Flying Over Mt. Fuji,' offering a bird's-eye view of the Fuji Five Lakes and sacred shrines for a taste of Fuji's beauty. Currently, there's also the limited-time theme 'Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening,' synchronized with Japan, providing a realistic 3D battle experience.
You can book Kaohsiung i-Ride Flight Theater tickets online through platforms like KKday. This allows you to plan your itinerary in advance, secure your tickets, and avoid the hassle of queuing or sold-out shows. On-site ticket purchases are available for some sessions, but we strongly recommend booking online in advance, especially for weekends or popular times, to ensure smooth entry and a better experience.
A single experience session at Kaohsiung i-Ride Flight Theater usually lasts about 15 to 20 minutes. This includes entry, safety instructions, and the actual flight experience. We recommend allocating sufficient time to arrive early for check-in, ensuring you can fully enjoy the experience and have ample time to explore the surrounding area.
Kaohsiung i-Ride Flight Theater is located within the Kaohsiung Software Science Park. You can take the Kaohsiung MRT to Shijia Station (R7), exit from Exit 2, and walk for about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a city bus to the Software Park Station or drive yourself; there are paid parking lots within the park.
The immersive experience at i-Ride Flight Theater includes seat movements, wind, mist, and other sensory effects, which may involve noticeable acceleration, dives, or ascents. Some individuals might feel mild dizziness due to the significant movements or the realism of the visuals. If you are prone to motion sickness or are sensitive to high-speed movements, we advise you to assess your condition. Opting for a middle seat section can help reduce the sensation of shaking.
Yes, the 'Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening' theme is classified as restricted due to its content, which includes realistic depictions of Titan flesh and frightening scenes. Therefore, viewers under 18 years old require adult accompaniment to enter and experience it. We recommend understanding the content thoroughly before viewing to assess its suitability and ensure a comfortable viewing experience.
There is a basic height requirement for the i-Ride Flight Theater, generally needing to be 100 cm or taller. It is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, spinal issues, pregnant women, those who have consumed alcohol, or anyone feeling unwell. As the experience involves feet dangling and significant seat movements, please follow the instructions of the on-site staff and secure your belongings properly to ensure safety.
