There is no gate at the airport station. If passengers depart from the airport, they can enter the gate and board the train without using a ticket; after arriving, they can simply scan the QR code to exit the gate.
If the voucher cannot be used, please do not use the same voucher to scan the turnstile multiple times, as this may cause the voucher to fail to work properly. Please seek assistance from station staff immediately.
If you require assistance in using your voucher (for example, if the gate does not respond when you use your voucher), you must contact station staff immediately. If you do not get immediate assistance from the station staff, please leave a proof of unsuccessful use and contact our customer service. We will not accept cancellation of the order without assistance.
Child tickets are only available for passengers aged 3 to 11. Please note that MTR staff have the right to ask passengers to present valid identification.
To make your journey easier, starting from July 5, 2023, Airport Express passengers can use Cathay Pacific's In-town Check-in service at Hong Kong Station from 6am to 3pm.
Each QR code ticket can only be used by one person. If you purchase one ticket, you will receive one QR code; if you purchase two tickets, you will receive two, and so on.
Each round-trip QR code ticket includes a round-trip Airport Express ticket. Passengers must use the same QR code to board the train.
Currently, some hotels provide shuttle service to and from Airport Express Hong Kong Station or Kowloon Station. Passengers can wait for the shuttle bus at the hotel shuttle waiting area. For details, please visit: https://www.mtr.com.hk/ch/customer/services/hotel-shuttle-service.html. The shuttle bus service originally designed for passengers taking the Airport Express to connect to Hong Kong Station or Kowloon Station has been discontinued since April 2020
If you are unable to use a one-way/round-trip ticket due to personal reasons, there will be no refund for the ticket.
