Product Info

Toyohashi Gion Festival Fireworks – A dazzling display with traditional tezutsu handheld fireworks.

The Toyohashi Gion Festival is a grand fireworks event that has been renowned nationwide since the Edo period as the Sanshū Yoshida Fireworks Festival. It is also said that tezutsu handheld fireworks originated at Yoshida Shrine.
Following last year’s success, the spectacular fireworks display is confirmed again this year! Around 12,000 fireworks, including goldfish-shaped fireworks, star mines, 8-shaku shells, and river stage fireworks, will illuminate the summer night sky and reflect beautifully on the clear waters of the Toyokawa River.

Futagawa-juku Honjin Museum – Step into the lively atmosphere of an Edo-era post town.

At the Futagawa-juku Honjin Museum, explore the history of Edo-period travel and local culture through interactive exhibits on Futagawa-juku’s development and transportation. Try hands-on activities like ukiyo-e printing and sugoroku board games for a fun learning experience.
Adjacent to the museum, the preserved honjin of the Baba family (1807–1860s) showcases Edo-era structures, including storehouses, the main house, and the front gate. The restored shoin building lets visitors see the jōdan-no-ma, once used by feudal lords.
