The cuisine of AUGAMINDETOKIO, the flagship restaurant in Ebisu that opened in 2008, is now available in Miyakojima. Owner chef Takemasa Kinoshita has been creating dishes that make customers smile with a unique perspective, without being bound by the framework of French cuisine, with the idea of "putting his soul into every meal" in his mind. He currently runs "French", "Classic Bistro" and "French Japanese" restaurants mainly in Tokyo. In 2020, he opened the private villa Grand Bleu Gamin, which has only five rooms, in Miyakojima.

The restaurant focuses on sourcing ingredients, and serves French cuisine based on Miyako vegetables and Okinawan ingredients, as well as carefully selected ingredients from all over the world, cooked in a "gamin" (French for mischievous boy) style that is recommended for that day or moment, to create special dishes that can only be enjoyed at Grand Bleu Gamin.

The most popular seats are the "teppan counter seats" which stimulate the five senses and are filled with a lively atmosphere. In addition to private rooms where you can relax, we also have a "separate counter" that can be rented out for up to seven people.

We have a large cellar that can hold over 200 bottles of wine. We always have over 30 types of bottles available, and over 5 types of white and red wines by the glass. We also recommend "wine pairing," where you can select a wine to go with your meal. Please feel free to ask us about your favorite varieties, origins, and flavors.
