I had my first SUP experience in the quiet bay of Imgya Marine Garden. Instructor Mei encouraged me by saying, "Even if it's your first time, you can do it!" I was surprised, but I actually tried everything: standing and paddling, riding with a partner, and lying on my back with my arms and legs spread wide. This was all thanks to the smile and support of veteran instructor Fumiya. Thank you for making me think I was good at it!
This was my third visit to Miyako Island, but my first time participating in an activity. I chose this tour because of its high ratings in reviews, and it was the right choice. Our guide, Fumiya, was friendly and easy to talk to throughout the tour, and his photography skills were outstanding. I was worried because I've never been good at snorkeling, but Fumiya quickly sensed my concerns without me having to say anything and kindly suggested that I could hold a lifebuoy, which put me at ease. I was able to snorkel properly partway through the tour. We saw about six sea turtles and clownfish, and it was amazing to swim with them. It was cute to see the sea turtles occasionally surface to breathe. My husband and son were also delighted. I think getting such wonderful photos taken is one of the attractions of participating in a tour. Thank you, Fumiya!
I went at the end of March! First of all, I was worried that the sea might be cloudy because it had rained the day before, but the sea was incredibly clear and beautiful❣️ It was high tide, windy, and the waves were high, but the staff's calm response and thorough explanations made it so much fun❣️ I did it first thing in the morning, and I was nervous because I heard that no sea turtles had been seen in the morning or evening the day before, but... I was overwhelmed to see two of them❣️ Thank you so much to Yume-chan❣️ who calmly and kindly dealt with the children who were running around❣️ I was also surprised at how wonderful the photos turned out❣️ I want to do it again❣️
Miyako Island is inconvenient to get to, so a day trip is the best option. The itinerary is picturesque, including all the most beautiful scenery. The tour guide is very nice and even helps guests take photos. It's great value for money, and the weather is great too. The Miyako Blue is beautiful!
Buy on Kkday is the cheapest, you can scan the qr code before boarding the ship, and you can see all the shifts you can buy online, convenient and fast
The tour guide will use a translator to explain things to you throughout the trip. There's a lot of interaction; they'll help you take photos and find coconut crabs, which is really impressive. It's a pity we encountered a rainy day, so we couldn't see the beautiful starry sky. I'd definitely come again if I have the chance.
The tour destinations offer some of the most stunning and breathtaking scenery in Miyakojima. Even though the weather was cloudy with light drizzle in the morning, the views were still beautiful and memorable. The scenery along the route truly showcases the natural beauty of the island.
The tour guides were also very friendly and welcoming. I happened to join the tour on Mamoru-kun Day, which made the experience even more unique.
The tour itself is conducted entirely in Japanese, but there is a multilingual guide available through an in-bus app. However, you will need a stable internet connection (your own mobile data), as the website must remain open on your phone to receive the audio guide when the bus reaches each designated sightseeing point.
Overall, it was a great experience and a wonderful way to see Miyakojima.
The service was excellent, and the pre-trip communication was very proactive and smooth.
