Yume-chan's guiding was wonderful! She taught us about all sorts of fish swimming around, and we even got to see sea turtles. She also took a picture of us with clownfish. It's a highly recommended tour that's safe and enjoyable for families!
The driver speaks Chinese, so communication was seamless, and he was very helpful. The car was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I would definitely ride with him again if I had the chance. It was truly wonderful.
The itinerary allows you to fully experience Miyako Island's topography, beaches, blue skies, ocean, bridges, and tourist attractions—you'll see it all. Lunch was delicious, and although the entire bus was full of Japanese people, their orderliness made the trip comfortable. A worthwhile day trip!
On our first day in Miyakojima, I was very disappointed that we couldn't snorkel because it was raining and windy. Fortunately, it didn't rain during the night tour we had booked for the evening, so it went ahead. We were the only ones on the tour that day. It felt like we were on a field trip with a teacher; we returned to our childhood and had so much fun exploring. We saw various creatures like coconut crabs, snails, owls, bats, and stick insects, and it was fun finding them while walking. It seemed like there were a lot of stars visible at the halfway point of the tour, but we couldn't see them because the weather was too cloudy and windy. However, they took a picture of us with a giant octopus... or maybe a decoration? there. You are free to take photos as you please, and the guide sends you all the photos they take throughout the tour after it is finished! I thought it would have been more fun if I could understand the explanations during the tour, but since my Japanese isn't very good, I was feeling disappointed even before it started. However, the guide explained everything very diligently using Google Translate!!!!! They must have been incredibly busy finding creatures and translating while explaining, but thanks to them, we had a wonderful tour!!!! If you have the time, I recommend booking a tour that isn't just for swimming. I couldn't believe a place like this exists on an island...? It was so fascinating that I was amazed. I want to go again later when the weather is nice!!
The most anticipated part of my trip to Miyako Island was the snorkeling and turtle-hunting tour. However, having not swum in a long time and being 28 weeks pregnant, I was a little worried. Thankfully, the instructor provided guidance and communication beforehand, and the snorkeling went smoothly. Midway through, my husband, being a first-timer, felt a bit unwell and asked to return to shore to rest. The instructor led us to the shore first, and to keep us entertained, even took us to look for Nemo (a famous Japanese sea turtle). Later, another instructor found a turtle and inquired about our health to see if we could continue. Although in the end, I was the only one searching for turtles (thank you to my husband for agreeing to let me go and trusting the instructor to let me go). Seeing the turtles was incredibly exciting! The instructor also took beautiful photos of us, ensuring we all had wonderful memories! I highly recommend Sugar 3 for your Miyako Island trip! 😍
The Three-Colored Lake is absolutely gorgeous, perfect for taking stunning photos. It's also very safe with kids; they can operate the facilities themselves without any problems. The instructors are all very professional, and the photos turn out beautifully.
Transportation on Miyako Island isn't particularly convenient, but this day trip not only solved the transportation problem but also allowed us to visit most of the island's highlights, making it a great arrangement. However, most of the tourists, including the guide, were Japanese, so the entire tour was conducted in Japanese.
