This is a special limited-time event where you can walk along the 9-meter-high 'Snow Wall' without worrying about traffic! Get up close to the breathtaking snowy landscape and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of winter.
■ 'Hitome Senbonzakura' Ogawara Town
With the majestic Zao mountain range in the background, the 'Hitome Senbonzakura' (One Thousand Cherry Trees at a Glance) features rows of Somei Yoshino cherry trees blooming along the Shiroishi River. The triple harmony of the clear blue sky, the surface of the Shiroishi River, the pale pink cherry blossoms, and the snow-capped Zao mountain range creates a unique beauty found only here. ■ 'Funaoka Castle Ruins Park' Shibata Town
Funaoka Castle Ruins Park is a historic site where the Shibata clan resided until the Meiji Restoration, and it is famous as one of the best cherry blossom spots in the Tohoku region. The view from the 24-meter Funaoka Peace Kannon statue at the summit, overlooking the Zao mountain range and the Pacific Ocean, is spectacular. The park also features the towering fir tree that gained attention in the NHK Taiga drama, leaving a lasting impression on visitors. You can take a slope car to the summit to enjoy both history and the beauty of nature alongside the cherry blossoms.
■ 'Miyagi Zao Kokeshi Doll Museum'
Kokeshi dolls are traditional wooden toys created in the mountain villages of Tohoku, originating in the late Edo period. We will contact you at least seven days before the departure date to let you know whether the tour will proceed or not.
The arrangement of a private vehicle will be adjusted depending on the number of participants, and may be a bus or large taxi.
Tour conductors (staff) will be arranged according to the language needs of participants on the day (Chinese/English/Korean/Japanese), but please note that we cannot accommodate requests for specific languages.
The main purpose of this tour is to view the cherry blossoms, but the timing of cherry blossom blooming varies from year to year depending on weather and natural conditions, and we cannot guarantee that the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom. Please note that even if you are unable to view the cherry blossoms due to the season, weather, or other force majeure, the tour will proceed as scheduled and no refunds or compensation will be given.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 21 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 8 to 20 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
