The itinerary started with a visit to the Fox Village, followed by lunch, and finally a trip to Ginzan Onsen. Our guide, Amy, was incredibly friendly and explained the entire itinerary in great detail. The highlight was participating in the fox-hugging activity – it cost 1000 yen per person, allowing you to hug a fox and take a photo! The guide was also busy translating with the Fox Village staff, making the whole experience fantastic! Finally, be sure to try the fried tofu and foot bath at Ginzan Onsen!
For this trip to Chungson Temple and Nibi Creek, we opted for a chartered car tour because we were traveling with elderly relatives who didn't want to travel long distances and take public transportation. Everyone was very satisfied. The only minor drawback was that communication with the Japanese driver still required a group chat, with the company translating and informing the driver. This was slightly inconvenient when meeting up and getting into the car. However, the driver was extremely polite, and we received a lot of traditional Japanese hospitality, which made everyone very happy. If you have basic Japanese communication skills, I would definitely recommend this company for chartering a car when visiting Sendai!
The driver, Mr. Shi, drove very smoothly and was a very nice person. It was really comfortable to play for a day. Although the sky was a little bad and it rained a little, the beautiful scenery made up for this imperfection.
