From Victoria Peak, visitors can experience breathtaking panoramic views of Hong Kong's iconic skyline, the sparkling Victoria Harbour, and the lush green hills of the New Territories. The 360-degree vista allows you to see famous landmarks like the International Commerce Centre (ICC) and the Bank of China Tower, offering a truly spectacular perspective of the city's urban sprawl meeting natural beauty, especially mesmerizing at night.
The most optimal time to experience the night views from Victoria Peak is typically just before sunset and into the early evening. Arriving around dusk allows you to witness the city transform from daylight to a dazzling sea of lights, offering both golden hour and complete night views. This timing also often provides clearer skies and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for photography and soaking in the spectacle.
Victoria Peak's Sky Terrace 428 typically operates from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays, and from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends and public holidays. These hours allow ample time for visitors to enjoy both daytime and nighttime vistas. It is advisable to check for any temporary adjustments to these times before your visit to ensure the latest information for your tour.
Visitors typically reach Victoria Peak via the historic Peak Tram, which offers a unique ascent experience. However, please note that the Peak Tram will be temporarily closed from May 26 to May 30, 2025, for routine maintenance. During this period, The Peak Tower and Sky Terrace 428 will remain open as usual, and the tour includes alternative arrangements for guests to be picked up and dropped off at the top of the mountain. Other public transport options include public buses or taxis.
This night tour includes a one-way Peak Tram ticket for your ascent to Victoria Peak and a one-way Star Ferry ticket for crossing Victoria Harbour. The Star Ferry offers a classic Hong Kong experience, allowing you to cross Victoria Harbour while enjoying the gentle sea breeze and stunning views of the city's illuminated skyline. The Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, built in 1915, is a cherished historic landmark in Hong Kong. It is the sole remaining structure of the original Kowloon-Canton Railway (KCR) terminus, which served as a vital gateway for passengers connecting Hong Kong to mainland China. Standing proudly on the waterfront, it symbolizes an important era of railway development and offers a glimpse into the city's colonial past and transport heritage.
