'Sushi Daidokoro Uoshin' is a Japanese-style Izakaya specializing in sushi and seafood, featuring sushi made with fish at the peak of its season. In addition to sushi, you can enjoy local fresh fish prepared in various ways, such as sashimi and hot pot. We offer a selection of sake, hidden gems, and an affordable Miyagi sake tasting flight perfect for women. Located just a 3-minute walk from Kotodai-Koen Station, the restaurant is a hidden retreat tucked away from the main street. We are open until 3:00 AM. It is the perfect place to visit when you want to enjoy the delicious flavors of Miyagi's local fish and sake, whether you are dining alone, on a date, or hosting a banquet.
We also have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to enjoy with our seafood in full season. We have a wide selection of shochu and sake that will bring out the deliciousness of our seafood! Among them, we highly recommend local Tohoku sakes such as "Suminoe" and "Hidakami." These are served in the "mokkiri" style, where the sake is poured so much that it overflows from a cup placed in a masu. Please enjoy them with your meal.
Sushi, sashimi, hotpot... Various dishes feature fresh seafood caught that morning. Visiting markets in Sendai, Ishinomaki, Shiogama, and other areas, the chef personally selects the freshest local fish with a keen eye. The fatty Kinka mackerel is used in the "shime mackerel" seasoned with just the right amount of vinegar. The restaurant has a total of 19 seats, including 5 counter seats and 14 tatami-mat seating. It has a relaxing Japanese atmosphere. At the counter, you can enjoy a drink alone without worrying about the people around you, or you can dine with someone you want to get closer to. In the tatami-mat seating, you can relax with your legs crossed, and we also welcome groups. If you want to enjoy the charm of the restaurant, we recommend the course menu for 5,000 yen per person. It consists of 7 dishes including sushi and sashimi, allowing you to fully enjoy the seasonal flavors. The dishes included in the course are changed according to the ingredients purchased on the day, and we will deliver you a masterpiece using the ingredients that are best eaten that day. Therefore, the course menu is different every time, so you can enjoy it in a different way no matter when you come.
