Daisen in Shimane Prefecture, said to be the birthplace of sake, and the rich natural environment. Saka Shrine: "Haimozake", which was introduced from China, developed into Izumo Jidenshu. The "cloudy sake" handed down at Saka Shrine is very similar to the sake brewing method used in the Nara period. In this way, sake brewing has been passed down in Shimane since the Yayoi period. This is why Shimane is known as the birthplace of sake.
