We have received many requests from customers who want to eat our specialty dish, meat kaidan, even by themselves, so we created a medium size! We also offer individual portions of horse sashimi and assorted dishes. We also have a counter, so solo drinking is more than welcome!
We use horse meat from Senko Farm and Kumamoto Meat, the No. 1 horse meat wholesaler in Kumamoto! Safe, secure, high quality, and high protein! Thanks to you, Gourmand has many customers coming for lunch and dinner, and we boast one of the highest horse meat consumption rates in the prefecture! That's why we take our time to defrost the horse meat! Restaurants that don't serve much horse meat defrost it at room temperature or quickly, which causes the umami components to escape, and since it's semi-frozen, we can only serve it in thin slices!
