This tour allows you to experience an ancient Japanese cultural tradition at a brewery that produces popular sake brands. We have organized a tour featuring 3 different breweries over 3 dates, including locations that are not usually open to the public, so please make this a memorable part of your trip to Japan. On-site, we will also take you to a local restaurant recommended by the brewery for lunch.

1. Sumikawa Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture), which brews the nationally beloved classic sake 'Toyo Bijin'. The president and master brewer, Norifumi Sumikawa, is the only apprentice of Takagi Shuzo, the maker of 'Juyondai'.
2. Miinokotobuki Co., Ltd. (Mii District, Fukuoka Prefecture), which brews 'Miinokotobuki'. It is well-known both domestically and internationally, with its name even being used for characters in the manga 'SLAM DUNK'.
3. Niizawa Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture), which brews 'Hakurakusei', the ultimate sake to pair with food, listed in Michelin-starred restaurants both in Japan and abroad.

The classic sake "Toyo Bijin" loved throughout the country is brewed in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The president and master brewer, Norifumi Sumikawa, is the only disciple of the 14th generation Takagi Sake Brewery.
Miino Kotobuki Co., Ltd., which brews "Mitsui no Kotobuki" in Mii County, Fukuoka Prefecture, is well known both in Japan and overseas, including as the name of a character in the manga "SLAM DUNK."
Shinzawa Sake Brewery in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, brews "Hakurakusei," a sake that is listed in star-ranked restaurants both in Japan and overseas as the ultimate drink to accompany meals.
