The viewing area for the glow-worms is a dark, unlit area. Please be aware of this if you have a fear of darkness.
The tour will proceed even in rainy weather, but it will be canceled if the national park is closed due to severe weather.
While this tour may be combined with other tours, all guidance will be provided in Japanese only. (This is not a tour where one guide alternates between English and Japanese; you will be guided entirely in Japanese to fully appreciate the beauty of glowworms and the starry sky.)
Weather and temperature can change easily in mountainous areas at night, and temperatures can drop by about 4-5 degrees Celsius compared to urban areas, so we recommend wearing warm clothing that you don't mind getting wet.
The walk within the national park will cover a distance of approximately 1 kilometer. Please refrain from wearing high heels or flip-flops.
Wheelchairs and strollers are not permitted on this tour. Please refrain from bringing them on board as there is no storage space on the bus.
The walking trails in the national park include stairs. Since you will be walking on dark trails with no streetlights, participation with a walking stick is only permitted if accompanied by an assistant.
