The "Lianchitan Dragon and Tiger Pagoda" (expected to be completed by the end of 2024 and reopened in the first quarter of 2025) was built in 1976. The interior of the dragon tower is painted with Cochin pottery works with moral stories from famous artists. The tower body and the Nine-Curve Bridge are connected and reflected on the lake surface to form a beautiful view. It is said that there are rules for visiting the Dragon and Tiger Pagoda. You must enter from the dragon's mouth and exit from the tiger's mouth, which means "enter the dragon's throat and exit the tiger's mouth" to avoid bad luck. "Formosa Boulevard Light Dome" One of the most beautiful MRT stations in the world - Kaohsiung MRT Formosa Boulevard Station is the world's largest circular underground station. "Zhan Er Ku KW2" is also an old warehouse with a history of 100 years. During the restoration process, the historical elements of the old warehouse were specially preserved. The British Consulate Cultural Park in Takao and the West Bay Scenic Area was built in 1879. It is the first consulate of the British government in Taiwan. It is of great historical significance and value, and is the best place to enjoy the sunset over West Lake. The park has preserved the appearance of a complete official residence, with a colonial veranda-style architecture. You can feel the torrent of history and the traces of time in the consulate. The most distinctive feature of the "Fo Guang Shan Buddha Memorial Hall" is the largest and tallest sitting Buddha in Asia - the Fo Guang Buddha. The park also has the Sanhao Children's Hall, the Four-Giving Pagoda Cultural Plaza, the Five-Harmony Pagoda Joy House, as well as the Buddhist Botanical Garden, the Double Loft Humanistic Space and the Tea and Zen Pavilion. The main body of Sakyamuni Buddha is enshrined in this hall. In addition to the hall, there are also permanent halls, exhibition halls, and the Great Awakening Hall that can accommodate 2,000 people. The Qiaotou Sugar Factory is Taiwan's first modern mechanized sugar factory. It has a history of 100 years. After the industry declined, it is now the Taiwan Sugar Museum, where the sugar factory and other antiques are well preserved.
