- What You Can Expect -

teamLab Planets is a new-generation art museum that differs from traditional museums—not only can you interact with the artworks, but it has also become a popular hotspot for photo-taking and social media check-ins.

The museum features five massive artwork spaces comprising a total of eight immersive interactive installations.

In this vast space, visitors remove their shoes and socks to experience the artworks barefoot, allowing the body to fully immerse in the emotional power of the art.

[Concept]

teamLab Planets is an art museum created by the art collective teamLab, where you can physically enter and interact with water.
Here, you are invited to immerse your entire body and soul in the experience, becoming one with the beauty of art.

The artworks transform based on your presence and that of others—every movement made by you or other visitors contributes to the existence of the work itself.
Join fellow visitors in immersing yourself in these large-scale installations and rediscover the beauty of art through the body, becoming one with the art.

[About teamLab Planets]

  • In January 2025, a new large-scale education-themed area was launched, including “The Athletics Forest,” “Catch and Collect Forest,” and “Future Park.”
  • Recognized by the Guinness World Records as the “Most visited museum (single art group)”
  • It is also the first Japanese museum to win “Asia's Leading Tourist Attraction” at the World Travel Awards, often dubbed the Oscars of the travel industry—receiving high acclaim internationally.
